LOWBURN TERRACE

Designed by Chris, our director, and constructed by our team, this award winning elevated garden on a steep slope was originally created to be enjoyed by the client’s wife who sadly never got to enjoy it. Our client loves to sit halfway down the terraces and remember his lovely wife while listening to the tranquil water flowing down the schist rocks and inhaling the strong lavender scents. Filled with colour and Central Otago schist, this garden is enjoyed by many on garden tours and now has a thriving bird and bee population. With so many unique areas in the garden, there is plenty to look at with the layers creating a feast for the eyes.
